Time Management

What does time look like at Kelle?

A typical day in these students' lives at school will consist of them getting to school at 9:00 Am and attending their classes until 1:45 and will have well sections breaks. Schedules will work by incrementing an hour for each class to not overwork student and fifteen-minute breaks that will help students avoid overload due to spending too much time in a class and will also allow a social life for students, and is a good schedule to work for teachers to have a well-deserved break that will help relieve stress and improve mental health for both students and teachers to avoid negative interactions between everyone during school days. According to the article “How Finland keeps kids focused through free play” Students need breaks throughout their leading periods in order to maintain focus and not be worn out. There is a method which is very commonly used in Finland about how students should be getting breaks very frequently to help students attention be at the highest that it can. “An angry red rash was starting to form on his forehead.” This rash came from how stressed the student was. Students who didn't get as frequent breaks showed signs of anger, anxiety, and even got rashes due to all the stress that they had to endure during their learning. “And most importantly, they were more focused during lessons.” This was after a teacher tried out this method of having more breaks and got nothing but positive results from it. Students were more focused, seemed less stressed and were more engaged. This is why we think giving our students breaks is a great way to help our students in the long run to maintain a positive outcome from students!
